Out and about

Dallas Temple

We got the chance to go to the Dallas Temple this past Saturday. I love that no matter where you go you can always find the church and that we have been blessed to be so close to the temple. Thanks for babysitting Jen!

Art

We started this art project last week, we painted our canvas and then choose what we wanted to put on them and cut the pieces out and stuck the pictures on to create our beautiful new art for their rooms.

Dallas World Aquarium

This place is a must see if you are out here (in my opinion) so we had to take Jen, I think she had fun and I know I did.

This is the view of the building from the parking lot.

You can see a bird in this picture on the railing, it flew by us and landed here, so we carefully got closer to check him out , so we wouldn't scare him away...

Here is that same bird now on Travis's head, guess he's not too skittish around people. Ryker got a big kick out of this, and talked about it a lot since.

Penguins! Last time we were here it smelled really fishy in this area, this time not too bad so we spent more time watching them, Ryker really liked them and the flamingos and would just watch them until we had to convince him to check out the next thing.

My sister is here for a visit. I am so happy to have her here, she is my best friend. I hope she has a good visit...she's making me so homesick!

Muesum in Fort Worth

This place had a neat Dino dig area outside, with a "creek" that ran through it.

Canon was helping his little brother around, love these moments.

Not sure if this was a "hands on" art piece but Ryker thought it was.

Mexican toys exhibit. Looks just like a doll I got from Rochele a long time ago...

Just a tiny space exhibit in front of their planetarium, still cool.

This was a cool Exhibit, it was a 4D ride thing about energy. The seats moved and we got sprayed with water and wind and at one point you could feel something move by your feet. Got to love the 3D glasses we look hot!

Later that night we tried a Pappaduex Seafood restaurant out. It had a bayou vibe and served frog legs and crocodile, I had a salad.
